Listed Medical Device affixed with Listing Number HKMD No. ######

When you find the label  affixed on the medical devices (as shown on below photo), it is a Listing Number which means the Medical Device has been successfully listed under Medical Device Administrative Control System from Medical Device Division* (MDD), Department of Health.  You can go to the Medical Device Division website and verify: https://www.mdco.gov.hk/english/sd/sd_ld/sd_ld.php

*The Medical Device Control Office under the Department of Health has been renamed as the Medical Device Division with effect from 1 October 2019.

With the listing number, you can search for the information of manufacturer, local responsible person and instrument classification levels from the Medical Device Division website.

The manufacturers of those listed medical devices have authorized us “The HomeCare Medical Limited” to be their local responsible person (LRP).  Notwithstanding affixing the medical device listing number on listed medical devices, it shall also be affixed on related Operation Manual, and LRP Invoice copies.  LRP Invoice shall clearly state the details of medical device (model and serial numbers) and the information of LRP (name, address, and contact telephone number).
