Principle of Peptest
Peptest detects pepsin content in user’s mouth and determines whether the user have reflux problem. In normal people. pepsin is only present in our stomach. However for patients with reflux problem, due to different problems including loose cardiac sphincter etc, their stomach juice will flow back to their digestive tract, causing pepsin to be present in the mouth. Therefore, detecting pepsin can be an important sign for having reflux problem.
How to do Peptest
Users only need to spit into a specific contain and mail the container to a specific laboratory. The laboratory will analyse the sample and produce a report for the user. The following video shows in detail how to perform a test.
